I am a Blessed follower of God who has given me a wonderful jewel by the name of Melody S. Parson-Allen. I am a country boy born in Monroe, Louisiana who was raised in West Monroe, Louisiana. My mother is the sweet Annie B. Smith who was called home years ago but her love remains in my heart. I have four siblings - three wonderful brothers two of which reside in Monroe, Louisiana (Charles and Clarence) who are twins and my oldest brother Fred who resides in Schertz. Texas. My Sister Annie was the baby of the family and God saw fit to call her home where she rest in his love. We have five children (Catrina -Dallas, Tx,Tosha - currently stationed in Japan with US Air Force,Vannesa - Maryland Ayesha who was called home by God in September 2018 and Vonn - Colorado). We have five grandchildren (Mikki,Ayanna,Frankie,Hunter and Elijah). I served in the US Army for 26 years with prior service along with delayed entry time and retired in November 2000 as a Sergeant First Class in the Personnel field and prior service as an Indirect Fireman (11C) . Feeling the need to continue to serve I worked for the Army in the role of a civil servant for the Department of Defense. I was Blessed by God to do 13 years as a Passport/Travel Agent at Fort Carson, Colorado and moved soldiers, civilians and their families all around the world. I retired in May 2016 and currently serve as the Associate Pastor of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Fountain, Colorado. Being licensed in June 2003 I continue to strive to fulfill the work of God through his word. Melody and I are Blessed to be members of KAIROS (Prison Ministry) along with our own ministry we do at Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility in Cannon City, Colorado where we've served for over 15 years. I've been Blessed in many capacities but cherish the service I do for God as my greatest accomplishment and seek for God to continue to oder my steps toward his will.
