OUR PASTOR

Reverend Donald A. Frazier, was born in Junction City, Arkansas, he is the second oldest of ten children. As Reverend Frazier journeyed through life, he met at a very young age his childhood sweetheart Mildred Steward. After high school they were married and they are the proud parents of three children Christopher, Steven, and Ashley.

Reverend served in the Vietnam War and also served two tours of duty in Germany.  He is the recipient of several decorative awards, including Two Bronze Stars. After 22 years of service he retired at the rank of Master sergeant.

Upon returning to Colorado Springs, he served as an associate minister of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Moses E. Ford. After serving at the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church for a number of years, he was called to the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist as Pastor February 26, 1993. Currently Pastor Frazier is involved in several local community programs and serves as Chaplain of the Fountain Police Department.

Pastor Frazier is the former moderator of the Southern District Association and also serves as the secretary of the Western States Baptist Convention. In addition he serves as the treasurer for the Southern Colorado Ministers Union of El Paso County. The union has helped thousands of families and individual’s with financial assistance and medical services.

Pastor Frazier’s favorite scripture is: Proverbs 3:5, 6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. This tells us about his leadership abilities and shows us that he is a “Man of Faith” sent by God. With the help of the Lord, foresight and ambition demonstrated by Pastor Frazier, Cornerstone will go forward with our eyes set toward the mark of the High Calling – Eternal Life through Christ Jesus.
